what's in a name?

The Meaning of Liber

Our school name comes from historical meanings of the word "liber."

We are all about educating people who are prepared for liberty.

The Liberal Arts is the education for growth and freedom.

Liber - free, independent

Liber or libri - book

Libere - freely

Libero - deliver, liberate

Libero - to raise up, to lift

Libertas - freedom, liberty, independence

The Liberal Arts  is the knowledge for freedom. Another way to say it is: 

the liberal arts are the studies that have to do with the mind and heart versus the hands and mechanics.

Free, Independent

Education for growth and freedom, to lead with the mind and heart.

Bark, a Book

The Latin word for book, derived from the inner bark of trees (liber) used for writing in ancient times.
